    signs of a time gone by

    As I watched the Sound of Music tonight with my 25 years of wisdom behind me I was reminded of what a shame it is in this dvd generation that children will never know that the scene where Fraulein Maria is shamed by the baroness into fleeing the von Trapp house after the party as Edelweiss plays is the part where you had to change to the second VHS tape.

    Furthermore, I think I'd like people to start addressing me as fraulein.
