i was not properly informed
Oct 7, 2008 at 09:02PM Today I spent some quality time in an MRI machine. For those of you who've never had the pleasure they slide you into a huge magnet machine with a relatively claustrophobic opening where you're not supposed to make the slightest of movements because that might disrupt the magnetic resonance that's imaging the body part in question.
When I was filling out the forms prior to going into the iron lung I noticed there was a question/statement 'Will you be taking valuim today? If so, please inform us beforehand.'
I didn't even know that was an option! Is everyone carrying around valuim just in case?
So I went in just me and the foam earplugs, thinking back to my soap opera watching days, thinking this is what it must feel like to be buried alive, because we all know any self-respecting soap star gets buried alive eventually in their characters life.
