They say one man's trash is another man's treasure. 

I would say that trite phrase when combined with this find I saw today on the corner of gorilla coffee and 5th Ave, that my friends, that is an understatement. 

Who? Who! would put this lovely artifact out to pasture?  I stood there for several moments, okay minutes, perplexedly staring, my mind reeling through all the channels available to me through which I might procure this treasure; from scaling the short fence to how I might strap it to my non-existent shoulders (see #25 &26) so that I might get this home.  Get this home in time for a timely surprise/horrorify to my roomie whence she returns from a labor day weekend abroad (ok, just  in DC).  Alas, I realized I was on a mission, a mission to see Hamlet 2 and this gargantuan Cats! wooden-frame-mounted-poster was not in my cards.  Not for this Sunday.
